The VJ Tech Rowe Cell Testing System utilises a Pro Dual Hydraulic APC to apply vertical load to the sample contained in the Rowe-type consolidation cell. The Pro Hydraulic APC also has inputs for the LSCT and Pore Water Pressure transducers, thus negating the need for a Data Logger.
The advantage of this type of cell is that drainage can be precisely controlled. In addition, the hydraulic loading system gives accurate control of applied loads over a wide range, including high pressures on large diameter samples.
The Clisp Studio csROWE software enables easy test setup and control with live tabular and graphical display of measured and calculated parameters and easy data export to standard packages. It conforms to BS1377-06.
