VJ Tech's csSDSWCC Software is used to determine the influence of the stress state on the Soil Water Characteristic Curve (SWCC) of a soil sample.

Stress-Dependent SWCC (SD-SWCC) is an advanced test which combines the determination of the SWCC at different ko stress conditions, trying to replicate the stress state occurring at deeper soil layers.

The Test is for a 70 mm diameter specimen with Vertical Load applied using our Multi-Purpose Cell with suction being generated using a Pneumatic APC at the top of the sample and a Hydraulic APC at the base, thus applying the axis-translation technique.

Both drying and wetting SWCCs can be determined, allowing hysteresis to be studied. Software conforms to ASTM D6836-16.
