The VJ Tech Clisp Studio Constant Shear Software module enables set-up, control and monitoring of Constant Shear Tests using the VJ Tech ShearSCAN Pro. The test can be fully automated; however, the test will always stop after the consolidation stage so that the user can prepare the sample box for the shearing stage by removing the sample box locking screws and also separating the two halves of the sample box using the splitting screws as required. The software also provides an option to conduct each stage of test under user control. There are multiple combinations of Consolidation and Shearing, which are fully described in the User Guide and the software conforms to BS1377-7, ASTM D3080-04, AS1289.6.2.2 & Q181C standards.
