Cone Penetrometer Hand Operated

The VJ Tech Cone Penetrometer is hand operated and is used to carry out the cone penetration test. It may be updated to a Semi-Automatic version with the VJ Tech Timer for Cone penetrometer. The cone penetration test is based on the relationship between moisture content and the penetration of the cone into the soil sample under controlled conditions. The timer provides a 5-second delay before the Cone is dropped automatically and avoids the vibration effect of a Manual version
