1.1 - Introduction
Clisp Studio version 2.10.1.0 is the final revision released to the public in 2020. This update to Clisp Studio includes the introduction of new testing standards, bug fixes and some feature upgrades.
1.2 - New Standards
Clisp Studio following on from the recent introduction of new BS EN standards in the UK for soil testing now includes support for BS EN 17892-10 for Direct Shear tests.

1.2.1 – Standards Supported in CS Shear
The CS shear module now includes support for the following test standards:
BS1377 – 7 (1995) – Determination of Shear Strength by Direct Shear
BS EN 17892 – 10 (2018) – Direct Shear Test
ASTM D3080-04 – Direct Shear Test of Soils under Consolidated Drained Conditions
ASTM D3080-D3080M-11 – Direct Shear Test of Soils under Consolidated Drained Conditions
AS 1289.6.2.2 : 1998 – Determination of the shear strength of soil – Direct Shear Test using a Shearbox
Q181C – Effective Angle of Internal Friction at Constant Volume Conditions for Granular Materials
1.3 - New Features
A number of new features have been introduced into Clisp Studio relating to calibration of transducers using Pro series instruments. A new excel export feature has also been introduced.
1.3.1 – Ghost Channels
Clisp now supports the option to store multiple calibrations on a single channel. This allows multiple transducers to be stored on one channel so that the most appropriate transducer can be selected for the test without the need to recalibrate it.

1.3.2 – Soft Tare Function
A soft tare function has been introduced for channels calibrated in load on Pro Series instruments. This allows the user to zero a load cell (to remove drift) without effecting the calibration of the load cell.

1.3.3 – All Input Values Excel Export
From the main export menu a new option is available that allows a test to be exported to excel so that all transducer inputs values from a test will be displayed on a single excel spreadsheet. This allows a user to see the entire history of a test easily, without needing to move to differing tabs or files.

1.4 – New Instruments
Support for new automatic pressure controllers has also now been included. The new models are VJT2266-P7 (100 bar pressure controller), VJT2266A-P14 (140 Bar Pressure Controller) and VJT2266A-PHS (high speed pressure controller).

1.5 – Other News
This version of Clisp Studio also includes the following:
· Support for the New Ringshear Pro
· A number of bug fixes and improvements across the new BS EN triaxial standard tests
· CS Marshall now includes a user defined setup allowing nonstandard tests to be performed.
