Our Triaxial testing Load Frames are specifically designed for Consolidated Drained (CD) Triaxial testing, Consolidated Undrained (CU) Triaxial testing, Unconsolidated Undrained (UU) Triaxial testing, Unconfined Compressive Strength (UCS) Tests, Double Walled Unsaturated Triaxial Tests, CBR Tests and Marshall* Tests. They are manufactured to a high specification from quality materials and have proven reliability (*except for 10 kN & 250 kN (2248 & 55620 lbf) Load Frames)
The TriSCAN load frames are available in 10, 50, 100 or 250 kN (2248, 11240, 22480 or 56200 lbf) loading capacities in both Standard and Advanced versions. The Triplex II load frames are a low cost 50 kN (11240 lbf) load frame and are ideally suited to CBR, Marshall, UCS and UU tests where measurement and data logging of load and displacement is all that is required. They all have stepper motor control, a large LCD display and 20 key touch membrane keypad for independent operation, but are usually controlled by computer using our Clisp Studio csTriax software for fully automatic Triaxial testing.
The Advanced TriSCAN load frame is the most advanced Triaxial testing machine currently available to soils testing laboratories. The built-in four channel stand- alone data logger allows data acquisition from load, displacement, pore water pressure and volume change transducers.
The Standard TriSCAN load frame is a low cost simpler version which is exactly the same as the Advanced version but without any data logging.
The Triplex II Advanced comes with a built-in data logger for load and displacement transducers but the Triplex II Standard does not.
