VJ Tech's range of Dynamic Triaxial cells with Balanced Rams are precision made specifically to reduce the number of instruments required for dynamic triaxial testing in soil testing laboratories. The design of of the Balanced Ram helps to avoid Cell Pressure fluctuation during Cyclic loading. This means that the Cell Pressure is kept constant so that a Dual Channel Hydraulic APC can be used for both Cell and Back Pressure, negating the need for a Pneumatic APC.

The Dynamic Triaxial Cells are available in various sizes to suit a range of specimen sizes. They are capable of withstanding confining pressures up to 2000k Pa (290 psi) and are designed with specially coated material to minimise corrosion.

This Dynamic Cell comes fitted with a 12-Port Access Ring as standard and has two sealable cable exit holes in the base to allow for Vertical Bender testing. The Access Ring supports the use of Horizontal Bender Elements, Mid-Pore Pressure Sensors and On-Sample Transducers for samples up to 100 mm.
