Our Dynamic (Cyclic) Simple Shear Test System uses a Dynamic Simple Shear apparatuswhich utilises 2 electro mechanical dynamic actuators for applying the vertical and horizontal loads to the sample, with the whole System controlled over a network by the Clisp Studio csDYNSS software module.
The VJ Tech Dynamic Shear with Confining Pressure System has been designed to test a sample at a confined pressure in a dynamically changing environment.
Our Dynamic (Cyclic) Simple Shear with Confining Pressure Test System consists of a Dynamic Simple Shear with Confining Pressure Apparatus which utilises 2 electro mechanical dynamic actuators for applying the vertical and horizontal loads to the sample held under Pressure in an adapted Triaxial type Cell. The 2 electro mechanical dynamic actuators are controlled by the Dual Axis Dynamic Servo Controller (DSC300MM) which is connected via Ethernet or USB to a PC. The vertical and horizontal displacements are measured with Encoders which are part of the servo motors. Back Pressure is controlled and measured using a Hydraulic APC and Cell Presssure with an Air APC with Air/Water interface. The whole System is controlled over a network or via USB by the Clisp Studio csDYNSS-C software module.
The VJ Tech Dynamic Simple & Direct Shear System which has been designed to perform either Direct/Residual or Direct Simple Shear tests (with the additional capability of cyclic testing). The system uses a dual axis servo controller for horizontal and vertical motion with interchangeable carriages to enable either Direct Shear, Direct Simple Shear or Dynamic Simple Shear testing. The whole System is controlled over a network by the Clisp Studio csShear, csDSS or csDYNSS software modules as applicable.
